H2: MY LEARNING REFLECTION
GROUP ACTIVITY: 30 MINUTES

In the last session you created a learning tracker to help you develop the habit of tracking your own learning.
Now turn to the last GREEN page “MY LEARNING REFLECTION”.
You’re now going to develop a target to help you reach the next stage in your learning in the subject that you have chosen to focus on.
Complete one of the ACT statements. There is an example to help you see how these work.
A (Assessment) = where am I? …write down what you have written in the ‘What that looks like’ column in the stage of your learning ladder you are currently on.
C (Correction) = where am going next? …write down what you have written in the ‘What that looks like’ column in the stage of your learning ladder above where you are currently at.
T (Target) = How do I get there? …look carefully at the words in the ‘A’ and in the ‘C’ box. What is the difference between them?
The difference between these two statements is what you need to focus on in your next lesson, your new learning target. Discuss this target that you have developed for yourself with your teacher before your next lesson and review it with them again at the end…how did you do?….if you achieved it then record it on your tracker.
Take the booklet away with you at the end of the coaching programme and use it take responsibility for your own learning, its up to you now.
